Overview & behavior
win-acme can schedule ACME renewals on Windows, but task creation requires sufficient privileges. An unsuccessful task registration means renewal is not automated.
After renewal, restart AEGIS to load the new PEM files; the current gateway does not hot-reload certificates.
Integration: AEGIS runs ahead of the loopback PackCDN origin, with independent policy enforcement.
Validation checklist: confirm prerequisites, execute the smallest working example, test error handling, inspect expected output and preserve the last working release.
